2 weeks old

We are now 2 weeks old and we have all opened our eyes. Soon our ears will open and we will start reacting to noises. We are still being fed by our mum exclusively even though she likes to sit in the morning sun for some time out from us puppies continually hassling her for feeding. We are trying to stand up although we are very unsteady and never stay standing for long.

Boys have a green & blue snail and girls have a pink & red lady bug.

week 1 individual photos

Finally our individual photos are here. We were all very co operative as our bellys were full so we didn't wriggle too much.

Our photos are numbered in birth order only. Girls have pink and boys have blue.

1 week old feeding

We are now 1 week old and have put all our spare time into growing bigger and drinking milk. Gemma is wanting to spend a bit of time out in the sun shine while we sleep, but as soon as she walks into the whelping box we all wake up and feed in a frenzy. We will have individual pics taken tonight hopefully, but in the mean time can you count all 8 of us here feeding?

3 days old

We were born a few days early as we weren't due to be born until today 5th May, but we are now 3 days old and we are all doing really well.

There are 8 of us 3 girls and 5 boys. Gemma is a really good mum and is making sure we all have lots of milk to drink and keeping us warm and clean. Our noses are all starting to get pigment as we are born with pink noses and toes. Our eyes are still shut and won't open for another 10 days or so and our ears are shut too. We are totally dependant on Gemma caring for us.
